Payment and Refund Policy

⚠️ Important Notice for iOS Users
Payment and subscription features are NOT available on iOS. This policy applies to Android and web platforms only.
The iOS app operates on a free plan only with up to 10 customers. No payments, subscriptions, or refunds are processed through the iOS app.
1. Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods for MilkBook subscriptions:
- Credit and Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
- Digital Wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal (where available)
- Bank Transfers: Available for annual subscriptions (contact support for details)
- In-App Purchases: For mobile app subscriptions via App Store and Google Play
All payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors. We do not store your complete payment card information on our servers.
2. Subscription Billing
2.1 Billing Cycle
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you select. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it.
2.2 Billing Date
Your billing date is determined by the date you first subscribe. For monthly subscriptions, you will be charged on the same day each month. For annual subscriptions, you will be charged on the same date each year.
2.3 Failed Payments
If a payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method again. If payment continues to fail, we may suspend or cancel your subscription. You will be notified via email of any payment issues.
2.4 Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify subscription prices at any time. If we increase the price of your subscription plan, we will provide at least 30 days' notice. The new price will apply to your next billing cycle. If you do not agree to the price change, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.
3. Free Trial
We offer a 1-month free trial for all premium subscription plans. During the free trial:
- You have full access to all features of the selected plan
- No payment is required during the trial period
- Your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel
- You can cancel at any time during the trial without being charged
To start a free trial, you must provide a valid payment method. You will not be charged until the trial period ends.
4. Refund Policy
4.1 General Refund Policy
All subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, we may provide refunds in the following circumstances:
- Within 7 Days of Purchase: If you cancel your subscription within 7 days of the initial purchase or renewal, you may be eligible for a full refund.
- Service Issues: If you experience significant technical issues that prevent you from using the Service, and we are unable to resolve them, you may be eligible for a prorated refund.
- Billing Errors: If you are charged incorrectly due to a billing error on our part, we will issue a full refund.
- Legal Requirements: Refunds may be provided as required by applicable consumer protection laws.
4.2 Refund Requests
To request a refund, please contact our support team at info@milkbook.in with:
- Your account email address
- Reason for the refund request
- Date of purchase or renewal
- Any relevant documentation or screenshots
Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We will respond to your request within 5-7 business days.
4.3 Refund Processing
If your refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days
- Your subscription will be cancelled immediately upon refund approval
- You will lose access to premium features once the refund is processed
- Refunds may take additional time to appear in your account depending on your financial institution
4.4 Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Subscriptions cancelled after 7 days from purchase or renewal
- Partially used subscription periods
- Fees for services already rendered
- Third-party payment processing fees
5. Cancellation
5.1 How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time through:
- Your account settings in the app or web dashboard
- Contacting our support team at info@milkbook.in
- For in-app purchases: Through your App Store or Google Play account settings
5.2 Effect of Cancellation
When you cancel your subscription:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
- You will continue to have access to all premium features until the period ends
- Your subscription will not renew automatically
- Your account will be downgraded to the Free plan after the paid period expires
6. Currency and Taxes
6.1 Currency
All prices are displayed in USD (United States Dollars) unless otherwise stated. If you are located outside the United States, your payment provider may apply currency conversion fees.
6.2 Taxes
Prices displayed do not include applicable taxes, duties, or fees. You are responsible for paying any taxes applicable in your jurisdiction. Taxes will be calculated and added to your total at checkout where required by law.
7. Promotional Offers and Discounts
From time to time, we may offer promotional pricing, discounts, or special offers. These offers:
- Are subject to the terms and conditions specified in the offer
- May have expiration dates
- Cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated
- Are subject to our discretion and may be modified or withdrawn at any time
8. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you dispute a charge with your payment provider (chargeback), we may suspend or cancel your account while the dispute is being resolved. We encourage you to contact us directly at info@milkbook.in to resolve any billing issues before initiating a chargeback.
